Thong Krut Village and The Beach Samui Location

The Village & The Location

The Beach Samui is nestled on the southern tip of Koh Samui in the sleepy fishing village of Thong Krut, only a 45-minute drive from Koh Samui International airport, and on one of the most underdeveloped beaches on the island – overlooking the archipelago that makes up Moo Koh Ang Thong, the national marine park.

The Beach Samui Perfect Respite

Here, friendly villagers and fishermen mingle with those who wish to find an escape-from-it-all paradise destination, yet Thong Krut is also the perfect base for a holiday filled with adventure of a simpler kind. From yoga and meditation, to island-hopping across the water to Koh Tan and Koh Madsum, better known as Pig Island, to monkey-operated coconut farms, to temples, to simple stargazing on the beach at nighttime, to taking a mountain bike to a dusty road, to kayaking along the coastline, to sitting sipping the most incredible coffee in one of Samui's best coffee spots, The Beach Samui provides the perfect respite.

A tiny island with a small population, local café owner Mr Kitt fell in love with a family of four pigs who were off to market on the mainland. He rescued them and now three generations of pigs thrive on Pig Island. Visitors love to play with them on the beach where they live, bringing watermelon and corn to help keep them at their happiest. A trip to Pig Island is not to be missed!
