RITUALS For The Mind
A meditative technique formulated by our practitionar Ajahn River to help digest and process emotional experiences. A form of mindfulness of the emotions with assisted concentration leads to a deep, lifechanging and profound catharsis and release of traumas, leading to a state of insight and mental clarity and freedom. This allows for extremely rapid completion of the grieving process, getting over breakups, and healing the scars of abuse, releasing and not just controlling anxiety and panic. A unique meditative technique that when mastered allows one to rapidly recover from emotional situations by oneself. River may incorporate this technique when appropriate in Mentoring and Stress Management sessions, but ideally requires a dedicated 2hr session to thoroughly release.
Our practitioner Ajahn River has guided many CEO’s, fund managers, bankers, lawyers and ambassadors, to deal with intensely stressful and busy careers. Drawing on Eastern wisdom, and modern scientific knowledge of the nervous system, he shows you how to integrate this wisdom and techniques into even the most busy of lifestyles, to help recover from or prevent burnout, to regain a life/work balance, and if necessary, using EAT. to release pent-up stress.
In this session Ajahn River draws on his entire range of experience and spiritual knowledge, and his intuition, to help bring greater emotional, mental and spiritual clarity and direction at key junctures in people’s lives. He may teach a variety of meditation techniques from various traditions to help the individual, and help them with relationship issues, career changes, to find their vocation. River can also help meditators who need assistance in overcoming obstacles and deepening one’s practice, or teach the Dhamma for those interested in Buddhism.
Ajahn River will teach how to integrate meditation and mindfulness even into the busy lives of mothers and executives, to produce more calm and mental peace, ability to function at a more optimal level even in circumstances that would normally be highly stressful or exhausting. By integrating meditation in this fashion, meditators will be able to take their meditation experience to the next level, without taking up an unrealistic amount of time.

Learn the hugely popular Dhammakaya Meditation technique that Ajahn River spent 10 years as a Buddhist Monk learning and practicing and teaching internationally. This technique incorporates a combination of Mantra and Visualization to very effectively still the mind, producing great inner peace and happiness, a profound cleansing of the mind, allowing it to think more clearly and make better decisions. Considered to be the deepest of all meditation systems, River can guide one to advanced levels, and offer online mentoring after one has left Koh Samui, to help overcome the obstacles in meditation and continue to deepen the practice.
Learn and practice a powerful form of standing and moving Qigong that opens and balances the chakras, linking them together into one giant Chakra called the Microcosmic Orbit, as learnt from Grandmaster Mantak Chia. This profound practice affects all areas of one’s life and gets them unblocked and flowing again. This will be practiced on the local beach by appointment, during the early evening when the sun is cooler.
